`Ohana Telcom/Construction, Inc.'s owner, Randy Funn, has over 35 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, retiring from GTE-Hawaiian Tel as Manager of the Plant Service Center in the State of Hawaii to join AT&T Outside Plant as the Director in charge of all outside plant activity in the Pacific Rim and West Coast regions. In 1995 Funn joined Bell Atlantic as the Director of Operations serving the State of Hawaii and selected areas in the Pacific Rim and West Coast within the commercial and federal government sectors. As the Director of Operations, Funn was responsible for all contracts including projects for outside plant support-structure construction, installation, engineering, inside/outside wiring, surveying (Global Positioning System), CADD drafting, cable splicing and placement (copper and fiber optic cables).
